At the end of August we were sitting at 115 migrated and several new sites in WordPress. With the start of a new school year and other important transitions, we had to pause on moving sites for a moment. We’re picking up the pace again and expect to have over 150 migrated sites sometime in November. With the addition of newly created sites, that should put our WordPress count over the 200 mark.
Web Services also launched the new campus directory before the start of school. We’ve received positive feedback for addressing data security/privacy issues, but some have wished for certain data to re-appear in the directory. We will meet with project stakeholders next week to discuss feedback and determine if future changes would serve community needs even better. Stay tuned!
Looking forward: We’re laying out a proposed plan for the next calendar year and will share parts of this as they become more solid.
