The visuals in this issue come from the art exhibits Chronologia and Alumni Showcase, which ran from March 1 to April 25 at the Perlman Teaching Museum. Still open for virtual tours, Chronologia features the work of retiring art department faculty members Daniel Bruggeman, Fred Hagstrom, and Linda River Rossi. The adjacent exhibit, also available online, showcases work from creative Carls who were guided and inspired by the featured professors.
“I felt the significant impact these educators have had on students and colleagues across the college at every stage of organizing the exhibition,” says Sara Cluggish, director of the Perlman Teaching Museum. “Rather than feeling like an ending, the experience has felt like the beginning of new friendships and an energizing exchange of artistic ideas.”
