The Carleton College Voice was named one of the best magazines published by an educational institution last year. Judges for the Circle of Excellence Awards, sponsored by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, describe the Voice as a “great showcase of color and style.” The Voice received a gold medal in the General Interest Magazines category and was a finalist for the Sibley Magazine of the Year Award.
“Judges loved everything about this magazine,” reads the judges’ report. “The covers draw you in (you want to keep touching them) and, once you’re inside, the copy and selection of stories hold your interest. The Carleton staff is tackling some hefty subject matter.”
