Ezra Levin, Leah Greenberg, and Sara Clough’s work on Indivisible is a credit to the Carleton spirit and deserves hearty applause [“One Nation, Indivisible,” fall]. Noting, though, that direct activism involves only a very small percentage of people who are concerned about the Trump administration suggests that we need to engage the majority. Equally frustrated in early 2017, I built an industrial-strength version of “write your congressman” for those whose work and family lives preclude in-person activism. Check out MailOurGov.org, where concerned voters can get their voices heard constructively. It requires little effort, but we’re seeing tangible results throughout the offices of Congress and the administration. Your “I just don’t have time” excuse is gone.

How… did I not know that @IndivisibleTeam founders @ezralevin and @Leahgreenb are @CarletonCollege grads until I opened my alumni mag.
