Join the Board – Undergraduate Journal of Humanistic Studies

UJHS Board members are responsible for reviewing and selecting papers for publication. This process involves significant editorial responsibilities and the ability to work collaboratively with fellow editors. Board members accepted this cycle will attend their first meeting 4th week of Fall term.

The UJHS publishes biannually, and editors are required to attend two meetings for each issue published. At the first, editors will select approximately 4 papers to read and provide feedback on. Every submission is read by at least 2 editors. At the second, editors will reconvene to discuss their thoughts on the submissions they read.

We encourage any Carleton student who is not currently a freshman to apply! The application deadline is Thursday, October 16th, 2025 at 11:59 pm CDT.
