The TRIO peer leaders help fellow TRIO students thrive at Carleton through a variety of efforts. Peer leaders plan and coordinate many activities, mentor first year students, and help the TRIO staff develop successful programs.

The TRIO interns are current TRIO senior students and have been a TRIO Peer Leader for at least a year. This position allows a TRIO senior to experience the professional work of the TRIO office in the form of a work study position.

Jayti Arora ’23

Hi all! I’m Jayti Arora (she/her) and I am a senior from the suburbs of Chicago. I am a Computer Science major with two minors in Math and Digital Arts and Humanities. This year I am interning with TRIO which is my third year working with the office. I am excited to be back in the house for my last year because TRIO has grown to become a comfort space for me. My project will be working on the website which is right up my alley aligning with my major and minors so I am looking forward to exploring that.
