Hi, I’m Sofia! I use she/her pronouns, and I’m from Oklahoma City. Something I look forward to doing the most during my first year at Carleton is exploring different opportunities around campus and making memories with my friends. A resource on campus that I would like to know more about is support for BIPOC students. My favorite thing I did this summer was that I competed in the National American Miss Pageant for the Miss Teen Oklahoma division. I placed Top 10 out of 40 girls, qualifying for nationals (unfortunately I couldn’t attend because of college)!

Hi, I’m Leonardo, and I use he/him pronouns! I’m originally from Detroit, and one thing I’m looking forward to is getting involved in the bustling Carleton community and finding my academic passions and strengths. A resource that I would like to know more about are those that assist with tax preparation. My favorite thing I did this summer was going to Denny’s with my friends and trying to see who could eat the most pancakes. I felt like I was going to die afterwards! It was a fun day.

Hi, I’m Sydney Lenz! I use she/her pronouns, and I am from Sarasota, Florida. What I am looking forward to most during my first year is meeting and interacting with all the unique personalities at Carleton, and I would like to learn more about OCS so I can better my global perspective during my time here. My favorite thing I did this summer was that I went abroad for the first time! I traveled the United Kingdom volunteering for Youth Groups in Ireland, Wales, England, and Scotland.
