What is Carleton Today?
Carleton Today is a weekly newsletter produced by the Division of Communications in partnership with the President’s Office and Carleton’s senior leadership team. New issues are emailed each Thursday morning to all faculty, staff, and students. Our goal is to engage and inform all members of our community on the important work of campus leaders and key committees. We also hope to contribute to a culture of transparency and community at Carleton.
Who should submit content?
You! We invite all faculty (including emeriti), staff, and students to submit content for consideration.
What kind of information should I submit?
We’re eager to hear about committee decisions, policy changes, and next steps on major initiatives. We also love sharing the successes of colleagues and students, so keep those kudos coming!
We’ll curate a list of featured events and news for you from other Carleton newsletters, calendars, and news sites.
Where do I submit content for consideration?
Please fill out the submission form. We encourage you to keep your submissions brief, yet complete, and include relevant links to more information.
When should I submit content?
Whenever you’re ready and as early as possible. The deadline to submit content is noon on Monday to be considered for that week’s issue.
Where do I share my great ideas, questions, and feedback?
Feedback from the Carleton community will help us seek out and share the most important campus information and improve Carleton Today. If you have questions, feedback, corrections, or story ideas, please email the newsletter team at today@carleton.edu.
