What Is a Community Circle? Come Find Out ...

Thu, October 8, 2026 • 12:00pm - 1:00pm (1h) • AGH Library

If you’ve never participated in a Circle before, this session is for you! A Community Building Circle is simply a structured way to have a conversation where everyone has an equal chance to speak and listen—without interruption or crosstalk. The aim of the circle is to build community.

We’re hosting an informal gathering for faculty and staff to try out the format together. Whether you're interested in how Circles work for campus life or just want a quiet space to connect with colleagues outside your department, all are welcome. Just bring yourself and your curiosity!

What it IS: A casual space to share stories, listen to colleagues, and pause.

What it ISN'T: Group therapy, conflict resolution, or a heavy training session.
