Restorative Practices: Experiencing a Community Circle

Tue, September 22, 2026 • 10:00am - 12:00pm (2h) • Sayles 251

What are Restorative Practices, and how do they function in higher education? Designed as a low-pressure entry point for faculty and staff, this workshop offers a brief overview of core restorative mindsets followed by an experiential Community Building Circle. Rather than a comprehensive training, this session provides a practical "taste" of the Circle process—giving you a chance to experience structured turn-taking firsthand, connect with campus colleagues, and leave with accessible ideas for your own department or classroom.
