Pronto Mail lets you define shortened names (aliases) for the addresses of the people with whom you correspond. Instead of entering a long address when you compose a message, you can just enter the alias in the To, Cc, and Bcc fields. When you create an entry in your address book, you can associate one or more addresses with the address entry name. In this way, you can create distribution lists or mailing lists for your co-workers or friends.
To create or edit addresses:
Pronto asks you to confirm the delete operation (unless you clear the Confirm Delete and File Operations check box in the Preferences dialog box). See "Configuring Pronto Mail" on page 267.
If you like, Pronto Mail can prompt you automatically before adding the addresses of incoming mail to your address book.
