Starting and Stopping the Configuration Utility

To start the Configuration Utility under Windows 95, choose Configuration from the Cisco Suite 100 group on the Start menu. Under Windows 3.x, double-click the Configuration icon in the Cisco Suite 100 group.

To exit the Configuration Utility, click Done. You can then either save your changes or cancel and return to the Configuration Utility. If you save your changes, you must restart Windows for those changes to take effect.

Upgrading a License Key for an Evaluation

To upgrade a license key for an evaluation:

  1. From the Configuration Utility's system menu, choose Version Information.

    The Version Information dialog box appears with version information for all currently installed components of Cisco TCP/IP Suite in the Currently Installed Components list box.

  2. To modify license information, click Modify....

    The Modify License Key dialog box appears.

  3. Edit the existing license key or enter a new license key in the License Key field.
  4. Click OK.
  5. To close the Version Information dialog box and return to the Configuration Utility, click Close.

Adding a New License Key

To add a new license key:

  1. From the Configuration Utility's system menu, choose Version Information.

    The Version Information dialog box appears.

  2. From the Version Information dialog box, click Add....

    The New License Key dialog box appears.

  3. Enter the new license key in the License Key field and click OK.
