Using Hotlists

You can use the Hotlist window to maintain a list of documents frequently read. Topics included in this section are:

Opening a File with the Hotlist Window

To open a file in the Hotlist:

  1. Click the Hotlist toolbar button or choose Hotlist from the Navigate menu.

    The Hotlist window appears.

  2. Double-click the file you want to open (or select it and click Go To).

Adding the Current File to the Hotlist

To add the current file to the Hotlist, click the Add Current to Hotlist toolbar button or choose Add Current to Hotlist from the Navigate menu.

Deleting a Hotlist Item

To delete a title from the Hotlist:

  1. Click the Hotlist toolbar button or choose Hotlist from the Navigate menu.

    The Hotlist window appears.

  2. Select the file you want to delete and click the Delete button.
  3. Click the Close button when you have finished deleting hotlist items.

Editing a Hotlist Item

To edit an entry in the Hotlist:

  1. Click the Hotlist toolbar button or choose Hotlist from the Navigate menu.

    The Hotlist window appears.

  2. Select the file you want to edit and click the Edit button.

    The Edit Hotlist Entry dialog box appears.

  3. In the Title field, enter the desired title.
  4. Click the OK button or press Enter.

Saving the Hotlist as an HTML File

To save the Hotlist as an HTML file:

  1. Click the Hotlist toolbar button or choose Hotlist from the Navigate menu.

    The Hotlist window appears.

  2. Click the Export button.

    The Export Hotlist dialog box appears.

  3. In the File name field, enter the name of the new file.
  4. Click the Save button or press Enter.
