SUMMARY:Arboretum Volunteer Work Event
TRANSP:TRANSPARENT
LOCATION:Arboretum Office\, 710 Three Oaks Drive\, Northfield\, MN
DESCRIPTION:Join us to improve the prairies of the Arboretum by removing a
spen and other invading brush. Historically our prairies were primarily tr
eeless\, providing important habitat for birds\, insects and other animals
that depend on this declining resource.  At this work event we will cut
small stems and carefully treat the cut stem with herbicide. Volunteers ca
n choose what activity suits them best. We  require participants at this
event to be 18 years of age. We suggest long pants\, closed toe shoes and
socks and your own water bottle.\n\nView this event on the Carleton Colleg
