Both the application and preparation prior to arriving on campus require students to track and manage multiple deadlines. We include parents in much of the communication we send to students, however, we believe in a student-centered approach and expect students to actively submit materials and maintain communication with the SLAI Office.

All application materials must be submitted by deadlines to be considered for admission. Following admission, students and parents are required to complete all pre-program documents. Incomplete documentation will prevent students from checking-in upon arrival to campus.

Tuition is paid through the student application. Both students and parents will receive a unique link that will bring them to an online payment page. Be sure to familiarize yourself with program tuition rates on the tuition and scholarship page, as well as the cancellation policy.

Student ID (Carleton OneCards)

Prior to arrival, students attending 3-week programs will be required to set up their Carleton email account, and upload their identification photo to GET for their student ID. This card will allow them to have access to buildings and enter the dining hall. Students must upload an ID photo via the GET site. Students will receive login credentials to access GET and other Carleton platforms about one month prior to the start of the program.

Students may load money onto their card in GET and may use that money at campus cafes and the campus bookstore. Please Note: any funds loaded on a OneCard are NON-REFUNDABLE at the end of the program.

Students attending 1-week programs will receive a similar card when they arrive on campus for their programs. 1-week program cards do not require login information or photo upload.
