Portrait of a Lady on Fire
Join the Student Activities Office (SAO) and the Student Union Movie Organization (SUMO) for a screening of “Portrait of a Lady on Fire” in the Weitz Center Theater. Screenings are now at 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
This week's film was selected by wGMICC (the Women & Gender Minorities in CAMS Collective) in an effort to empower women and other gender minorities working in the film industry and highlight their work. Portrait of a Lady on Fire was written and directed by female filmmaker Céline Sciamma. A member of wGMICC will be introducing the film at each screening.
Bring your student OneCard for admittance. Due to current COVID-19 guidelines, the Weitz Center Theater has a maximum capacity of 30 per showing. As a result, only current Carleton students will be permitted. The SUMO program is funded entirely by the CSA Activity Fee and paid for by students. We hope to return to normal operations soon and welcome back other members of the campus community.
Below are a few important notes:
- Reservations and Carleton student OneCard required;
- Please no food or drinks in the cinema;
- Masks must be worn at all times;
- Please practice social distancing; and
- Enjoy the film!
