January 2021- Carleton 1285 and 1286 compete at the Boulder Battle Invitational hosted by the University of Colorado Boulder

October 2020- Carleton’s returning members compete at the 13th annual (and first virtual) University of Minnesota Nordic Undergraduate Mock Battle

  • Carleton earns eighth place with a 5-3 record
  • Molly Zuckerman and Luke Norquist win attorney awards

2019-2020

March 2020- Carleton 1323 and 1324 compete at Cedar Rapids ORCS

  • Jalen Causey wins a witness award

February 2020- Carleton 1323 and 1324 compete at the AMTA Regional Tournament in St. Paul

  • Both teams earn bids to ORCS
  • 1324 earns the Spirit of AMTA award
  • Courtney Kimmell, Halle Beshouri, and Luke Norquist win attorney awards
  • Sam Goity and Jalen Causey win witness awards

January 24-26 2020- Carleton Mock Trial competes at the National Invitational at Loras College

  • 1324 earns an honorable mention

January 10-12 2020- Carleton Mock Trial competes at the Scarlet and Cream Invitational hosted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln

  • 1323 earns first place
  • 1323 earns honorable mention for the Spirit of AMTA award
  • Luke Norquist wins an attorney award
  • Sam Goity wins a witness award

November 16-17 2019- Carleton Mock Trial competes at the Ole Open hosted by St. Olaf College

  • Both 1323 and 1324 earn honorable mentions

November 1-3 2019- Carleton Mock Trial competes at the St. Paul Trials hosted by Hamline University

  • 1324 earns fourth place and 1323 earns seventh place
  • 1324 earns the Spirit of AMTA award

November, 2018- Carleton Mock Trial finishes its fall invitational season at the St. Paul Trials tournament at Hamline University

  • Team 1061 places 5th and 1062 places 3rd!
  • Carleton Mock wins the Spirit of AMTA Award
  • Courtney Kimmell and Sam Goity win attorney awards
  • Emma Thomley wins a witness award

October, 2018- Carleton brings the full program to the Richard Calkins Invitational Tournament at Drake University

  • Team 1061 places 2nd in the tournament and 1062 places 5th
  • Carleton Mock also brings home the Spirit of AMTA award
  • JP Beaty, Halle Beshouri, Courtney Kimmell, and Ben Richardson take home individual awards

October, 2018- Carleton opens the season competing at the University of Minnesota Nordic Undergraduate Mock Trial Battle

  • Team 1061 of returning members takes 3rd place in the tournament and Spirit of AMTA.
  • JP Beaty and Courtney Kimmell take home individual awards.

Carleton Mock Trial will be competing as teams 1061 and 1062 for the 2018-2019 season

2017-2018

March, 2017- Team 1223 travels to the Opening Round Championship in Geneva, Il

  • Win the Spirit of AMTA award

February, 2017- Carleton competes at the St. Paul Regional Tournament hosted by Macalester College

  • Team 1223 places third, advancing to the Opening Round Championship series
  • Team 1223 also wins the Spirit of AMTA award
  • Ben Richardson (1223) and Luke Nordquist (1224) bring home attorney awards
  • JP Beaty (1223) and Trevor Hughes (1224) bring home witness awards

  • Team 1223 comes in second in the tournament

November, 2017- Carleton Mock Trial competes at the Mac Trials Invitational at Macalester College

  • Team 1224 places 8th in the tournament and 1223 receives an honorable mention

October, 2017- The full Carleton Mock trial team competes at The Richard Caulkins Invitational at Drake University
