We are a group of Carleton students from all class years who serve as peer resources for pre-health students on campus. We organize informational events to help students pursue pre-health tracks at Carleton, host social events to foster a supportive pre-health community, run a peer pre-health mentorship program, and provide class registration advice each term. Reach out to any of us if you have pre-health related questions! If you have questions about dentistry, veterinary medicine, or pharmacy, ask one of our Non-Medicine Pre-Health Advisors!
Hi everyone! I’m Poly from Houston, Texas. I’m a Chemistry major with potential minors in Public Policy and Biochemistry. I work as an OIIL peer leader and currently serve as Treasurer for the Carleton Student Association. Once I graduate, I plan to take at least one gap year before pursuing an MD. I’ve conducted significant research over my undergraduate career, so feel free to reach out if you are curious about undergraduate research and other pre-health requirements.
My name is Trevor Jones, and I’m a sophomore from Waukee, Iowa. I’m considering a Biology or Psychology major with a Biochemistry minor. I would like to pursue a career as an emergency room doctor or trauma surgeon. At Carleton, I play on the men’s soccer team and enjoy being involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, TopSoccer, and Project Friendship. I’m also a big country music fan! Previously, I have researched at Des Moines University and at Wake Forest University. If you have any questions about volunteering, research, or being a student-athlete doing pre-health at Carleton, reach out and I will be happy to help any way I can!

Hello everyone! My name is Lora and I’m from Superior, Wisconsin. I’m a prospective Political Science major with a biochemistry minor on the pre-med track, planning on pursuing an MD/MPH after graduating. Aside from CPA, I’m a program director for Girl’s Circle through the CCCE, a volunteer at the hospital in Duluth MN, and a member of the National Youth Collective for Amnesty International, the world’s largest human rights organization. I am also a member of Amnesty’s Twin Cities local group where I work on federal lobbying and activism events. This summer I’ll be doing a public health internship in my hometown. Let me know if you have questions about completing medical school prerequisites as a non STEM major or how to get involved with public health efforts on or off campus!
