The Applied Externship is a one- to three-week experience offered in December, designed for juniors and seniors seeking to build industry-specific skills. Students eligible for financial assistance from the college and international students may apply for financial support for an externship. Exceptions may be made on an individual basis. Funding can be used to support expenses for meals, transportation, and commuting. Funding is not to be used for wage replacement. Funding amounts updated each year. Grant determinations will be based on students’ demonstrated need and program-related budget. The funding application is part of the student application, which is due at the beginning of October.
