Title IX is an anti-discriminatory federal regulation that prohibits any type of gender-based discrimination in educational settings. Carleton provides support and services for instances that include but are not limited to: sexual misconduct, gender-based violence, interpersonal violence, harassment, stalking, intimate partner/relationship violence, and unequal opportunities based on gender.

Inquiries about Title IX may be referred to Carleton College’s Title IX Coordinator, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, or both. Learn more on the Title IX website.
