When asked, “What is something you’ve taken away from being a Peer Leader?“, Trinh said:
“After being a TRIO PL and intern for 3 years, I’ve learned to appreciate my peers for our own work towards reform at this school. The first-gen, low-income, and constantly overlooked students of this campus are contributing so much in fighting for our own education and to improve the experiences of underclassmen like us. I’m so thankful and honored to have met and been part of a resilient class that wanted change at Carleton.”
Trinh is graduating on June 11, 2022. When asked, “What’s Next?”, Trinh said:
“I’m moving to Japan later this summer to teach English!”
