National First Gen Day (November 8th) was celebrated by hosting the 1Gen student organization’s grand kick-off, a tabling event, and a viewing of the First Generation documentary. More than 60 first-gen students attended the kick-off event to enjoy boba drinks and each other’s company. At the tabling event on November 8, 1Gen officers Victoria Bradjan, Taia Bush, and Diana De La Paz provided goodie bags to first gen students, which included inspirational stickers, a resource card, and a cookie.
