Clothesline Project SAAM
This space aims to center the stories of survivors of sexual assault and relationship violence, experienced firsthand or witnessed by loved ones. There will be t-shirts that may also be used to create support and community in this space through words and visuals, and helps us to recognize the impacts of sexual violence in our community. We invite you to engage with the space in any manner that you would like to. The use of t-shirts has been chosen in line with a nationally recognized “clothesline project”, which honors survivors and humanizes their experiences through clothing. We will continuously hang up shirts as they are made over the course of the 15 days. There will be a special display in the OIL gallery space of select shirts from April 20th through April 27th.
