TRIO Goes Green - Midterm Monday Fieldtrip

Learn how to be eco-friendly from Sustainability Coordinator Demetrius Blackmon-Jimenez '24, followed by a visit to the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Organics Recycling Facility. Participants will see how organic waste is processed into nutrient-rich compost using advanced technologies and enhance their understanding of sustainable waste management! Lunch will be provided. Registration is required.
A Presentation will be held in the Alumni Guest House Meeting Room from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. & then Vans will take you to the SMSC Organics Recycling Facility
