What is Academic Integrity and Why is it Important?

Tue, February 6, 2024 • 5:00pm - 6:00pm (1h) • Leighton 236

David Liben-Nowell and Yansi Perez from the Provost's Office will talk about the Academic Integrity policy at Carleton, how it fits into the context of different professors/disciplines at Carleton, and how the Academic Standing Committee reviews academic integrity violations. In the session, we will explore some scenarios in which students' initial intuitions may differ and provide practical guidance on how to complete academic work in a way that's consistent with ethical standards and the college's academic integrity policy.
