Sexual Citizen's & Rape Culture Discussion

Tue, April 9, 2024 • 12:00pm - 1:00pm (1h) • Alumni Guest House Meeting room

"Sexual Citizens" by Jennifer S. Hirsch is a landmark study on sexual assault on college campuses. A sexual project is why someone engages in a sexual activity or intimate experience. There are many different reasons why people have sex. It can be for pleasure, it can be to form a long-term committed relationship, etc. This session takes concepts from "Sexual Citizens" and examines how rape culture influences these concepts. Food will be provided and it will be a lot of discussion!
