On Campus Commencement Guest Housing: Carleton College offers limited housing in Goodhue Hall for guests of graduating seniors. Guests will be housed in empty student rooms and will share the building and community bathrooms with Carleton students who are staying during Commencement week. These spaces are not air-conditioned and no pets are allowed.
Rooms that are available include singles and doubles and share a common floor community bathroom.
Commencement Guest Housing 2026
Reserve housing by Monday, May 11
Rooms can be reserved for Friday night (one night) or Friday and Saturday nights (2 nights).
- $60 per night (room with one bed+ 1 linen bundle)
- $85 per night (room with two beds + 2 linen bundles)
Linen bundles: pillow and pillow case, blanket, sheets, towel, and washcloth
Check-in Details: Your Carleton grad will be responsible for picking up room keys on Friday, June 12 between 11:00am and 4:30pm.
Saturday, June 13 Check-Out Details: Guests must vacate the rooms and return the keys by 5:00pm.
Sunday, June 14 Check-out Details: Guests must vacate the rooms and return the keys by 9:00am.
Cancellations and Refunds: All Commencement Guest Housing Reservations must be prepaid by credit card with form reservation. Families who wish to cancel an existing reservation can email reslife@carleton.edu as soon as possible. Residential Life will initiate a refund by contacting the Carleton Business Office. The card holder should see a return of funds within 2-3 business days of the cancellation.
A confirmation email with your room assignment will be sent out one week prior to Commencement.
