Hi! I’m Emily and I am a senior student worker. Throughout my time at Carleton, I have worked in student financial services, the machine shop, on the planning committee for the new makerspace, and as a physics lab assistant. I currently split my time between financial services and the machine shop. Both jobs helped me grow into who I am today.
Financial services allowed me to hone my attention to detail, organization, and administrative skills. The machine shop presented opportunities to develop my machining, design, and managerial skills. Both of these jobs will serve me well in my future as an architectural engineer next year, and I am grateful for student employment at Carleton!
