Can a student put break hours on a term time sheet?

A student that has worked hours during a break cannot place those hours on a term time sheet.  Hours must be recorded accurately on the date worked.

The reason for this is that term positions are exempt from FICA (Social Security and Medicare) withholding requirements because they are considered financial aid. Term positions are supported by federal, state and institutional funding sources.

Break positions are not exempt from FICA withholding requirements because they are not considered financial aid and are supported only by institutional funding sources.
