LASO’s Quinceañera Event

LASO is delighted to bring a quinceañera event to Carleton held at the Weitz. This is a common event throughout Latin America that is meant to celebrate the coming of age of a young adolescent’s life (traditionally celebrates a girls transition from childhood to adulthood). The celebration is comprised of traditional dances, cultural foods, and ceremonies. A quinceañera is also meant to showcase one’s heritage through party decorations, music, and outfits as well as the community’s support. We hope you join us and celebrate LASO’s take on a quinceañera.
