Improv Comedy Workshop with Claire McFadden
In this improv comedy workshop, we’ll dive deep into longform scenework and focus on staying present, having real reactions, and relaxing into scenes. We’ll talk about tangible things you can do to add depth to a scene, as well as work on physicality, listening hard, and following your instincts. That's a lot to keep track of, so we won't lose sight of the fact that improv is fun, silly and low-stakes. Come play.
BIO: Claire McFadden wrote and performed sketch shows all over the country with the the Second City Touring Co., before going on to star in two Jeff-award nominated Second City Mainstage revues. She’s also written six two-person sketch shows with her duo Spooky Dookie, written for Jackbox Games, and improvised at every major theater in Chicago, as well as in the back of many bars.
