Convocation with Andrew Little '06 | The Case Against Pessimism About Democracy
Andrew Little is an Associate Professor of Political Science at UC Berkeley. Most of his current research asks how people form beliefs about the political world, when these beliefs have systematic biases, and how this affects the functioning of democracy. His work has been published in leading political science and economics journals and covered by major news outlets worldwide. He teaches courses on democracy, game theory, and empirical research methods, and serves as an editor for the American Journal of Political Science. Prior to joining Berkeley he received a B.A. from Carleton College, a Ph.D from NYU, and taught at Cornell.
