Into the Arboretum Service Project

You will gain familiarity with the Carleton Arboretum and build community within your New Student Week group by planting trees in the Lower Arboretum. Please wear clothes that can get dirty including long pants, closed-toe shoes, socks, and rain gear if needed. This event will happen rain or shine but could be canceled if the weather is hazardous. Bug spray, gloves, and transportation provided. Feel free to bring a water bottle. Buses will leave the Weitz every 15 minutes – check with your NSW group leader for your scheduled time. You will volunteer in shifts, each of which will be an hour long. Sponsored by the Center for Community and Civic Engagement (CCCE) and the Arboretum.
