Presence Overview

The Student Activities Offices uses a system called Presence to maintain a database of student organizations on our campus. 

In Presence each student organization will have a landing page where they share general information about their organization, contact information for organization leaders, and events they host on campus. 

Student organization leaders are responsible for maintaining up to date information about their organization such as their rosters. 

Information about how to use Presence is included below.

Creating an Account

  1. Navigate to carleton.presence.io and click on the person icon in the right corner of the screen. Click login. 
  2. Below the spaces for an email and password, there will be a link that says Create Account. Click that link and follow the instructions using your .edu email address. 
  3. You will receive an email confirming your account creation.

Organization Registration 

  1. Navigate to carleton.presence.io
  2. In the upper right corner, click Forms and select Organization Registration
  3. Fill out the form in its entirety 
  4. Click Submit for Approval in the upper right hand corner of the form
