This year’s staff retreat was focused on reflecting on Carleton’s IDE journey. The event began with a nice breakfast and people enjoying conversations at their table.
The organizers created an interactive “gallery walk” through the College’s living history of inclusion, diversity, and equity. Using the reflection tools of “appreciative inquiry,” they allowed participants to rediscover and contribute to 150+ years of our proud history in diversity, reflect on the moments and people that have shaped Carleton’s dedication to civil rights and advocacy, and gather in community to celebrate our shared future.
