This year’s staff retreat was focused on Community & Belonging. The event began with the unveiling of the remodeled Sayle-Hill Cafe. Staff got to enjoy three new items from the catering menu from Bon Appétit, and try out the flow of the new pick-up line.
To start off the main, event, staff sharing how the topic of community & belonging will help us think about the work we will do to help implement value #1, Community of Carleton’s 2033 strategic plan. Jeff Stafford from Orange Slice Training was the main speaker.
This workshop invited participants to roll up their sleeves, and engage in discussions and action planning so they could create a sense of belonging that’s vital to our colleges’ success, and the success of our students.
