Public Speaking Practice Group

Thu, February 12, 2026 • 2:10pm - 2:55pm (45m) • Library Athenaeum

Your expertise is valuable, but only if people pay attention!

Luckily, Public Speaking is a learned skill. You can get better at it.

Gather with other Carls working to improve their public speaking skills to try things out and grow in your ability.

This is a laboratory to experiment, be it preparing for a presentation or simply practicing impromptu speaking in front of a group.

We won't be offering coaching or instruction, but you may record yourself or request written feedback for personal reflection or working with outside coaches like those at the Writing Center.

Gould Library Athenaeum. Winter Term: Thursdays 2:10-2:55 pm.

from Gould Library
