Spanish Teaching Assistant Program
Are you passionate about the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking cultures? Would you like to share your skills and enthusiasm with others and make an impact in their education? Do you want to gain valuable leadership and teaching experience that looks great on your resume? Become a Teaching Assistant in the Spanish Department!
We are looking for dynamic, creative, collaborative, and dependable candidates with excellent command of Spanish to lead twice-weekly sessions with students in the 101-103 language sequence. They also provide tutoring support outside of class and participate in ongoing training and professional development activities, for a total of 7 hours per week. TAs share their passion for Spanish language and Spanish-speaking cultures, build positive relationships with students, and facilitate a supportive and collaborative learning community in the classroom.
