Annette Nierobisz, Ada M. Harrison Distinguished Teaching Professor of the Social Sciences at Carleton, presented findings from her follow-up study of older, unemployed workers at the 2024 American Sociological Association annual meeting in Montreal, Quebec. The paper, “Social (In)Security: A Study of the Enduring Effects of Late-Career Job Loss,” is co-authored with Dana Sawchuk, professor at Wilfrid Laurier University.
