Daily Crime and Fire Log Information
The Daily Crime Log is a record of criminal incidents reported within the patrol jurisdiction of Security Services over the previous 60 days. The Daily Fire Log includes reports of fire incidents that occur in on-campus student housing over the previous 60 days.
Information Considerations
In accordance with Federal Law, Security Services may temporarily withhold information from this report if there is clear and convincing evidence that the release of the information would jeopardize an ongoing investigation; jeopardize the safety of an individual; cause a suspect to flee or evade detection; or result in the destruction of evidence.
Accessing the Daily Crime and Fire Log
The Daily Crime and Fire Log is updated within two business days of an occurrence and is available upon request at the Security Services office at Hoppin House, 420 E. 1st St., Northfield, MN 55057 during normal business hours. A .pdf copy of the Daily Crime and Fire Log is available upon written request to the Director of Security Services.
