Our Unique Parking Environment
Carleton is a unique campus environment, as the surrounding neighborhood blends with our campus. You will find parking opportunities both on Carleton property and on Northfield city streets. Campus security manages parking on campus, and the City of Northfield enforces parking regulations on city streets.
Parking at Carleton is a shared venture between visitors, students, faculty, and staff. Generally, parking in campus lots is less available Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Students are restricted to their assigned parking lots Monday-Friday between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm during the academic year.
City street parking is available throughout Northfield. On days when there are a number of activities or large activities on campus, you may end up parking several blocks from the campus core.
