Workday Inbox becomes My Tasks

Workday is continually refining and improving its functions, and as we enter our second year of using Workday, we get to start experiencing these enhancements as they become available!  We have just launched one such feature which takes the Workday “Inbox” and upgrades it to “My Tasks.”  

My Tasks and Inbox are very similar. My Tasks is in the same location, it has the same icon, and its primary purpose is the same; it shows you your outstanding tasks.  The main difference is that My Tasks adds a few helpful features. It will let you save a search, easily create and save filters, and work with your delegations right within the My Tasks window.  Additionally, it comes with an advanced search feature that will allow those who have many approvals to find exactly what they need.

Our team of early adopters seamlessly upgraded to My Tasks, so the update was turned on for the campus community on Tuesday, February 6 without formal training. However, if you encounter any questions, please submit a ticket to ITS and we will get answers to your questions.
