SEAMS Website: Preparing resources for the campus community

7 November 2022

As we rapidly approach critical milestones of our Workday implementation, we want to make sure that the campus community has access to consolidated and meaningful information.  To this end, a few recent changes were made to the SEAMS website that we would like to bring to your attention and encourage you to utilize:

  • Update to project governance: The Change Network – Our Change Network is composed of representatives from all campus departments who meet with our Workday project leadership each month, offering important feedback and insights. You can now visit the ‘About SEAMS’ tab on our website and click on the ‘Governance’ button to access an accordion with the full list of the Change Network representatives and their associated departments.
  • Submit your Feedback – We would love to hear from you if you have any comments to share or questions to ask about the project. On the ‘SEAMS Home’ page and on the ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ page we have included a ‘Submit Your Feedback’ button.  If you click this button, it will take you to a brief form that you can complete with your inquiry.  When submitted, the contents of the form will be shared with the project managers who will work to coordinate a response.  Also, the questions and comments submitted will be strongly considered as we work to create additional frequently asked questions for the site and prepare for our training rollout.
  • Training Tab – We have added a project ‘Training’ tab to the SEAMS site and in the next few weeks we will begin adding training content to orient you to Workday features and functions.  Keep an eye out for correspondence about upcoming Workday training opportunities.

In the coming weeks we will continue to enhance the resources available on the SEAMS site. We hope you will take some time to familiarize yourself with content now and in the future.
