As we approach the important milestone of bi-weekly time entry in Workday starting December 18th and the additional rollout of functionality on January 2nd, we want to draw your attention to some important and useful resources on the SEAMS Website:
- ‘Project Calendar’ Tab – A project calendar, which includes upcoming project milestones, can be found as a tab in the navigation menu and on the right hand side of the ‘SEAMS Home’ tab. The calendar as well as the count-down timer on the bottom of the home page include the rollout of upcoming functionality in Workday. The release of new functions in Workday will be an iterative process over the next two years, so please keep an eye on the calendar and timer for future roll-outs.
- ‘Upcoming Changes’ Tab – Project leads have worked to compile a list of dates when business functions will transition from The Hub/Colleague to Workday and associated, temporary freezes in data and business processes. Please reference this table for business processes impacted and associated dates.
- ‘Training’ Tab – Our team continues to populate resources on this tab that we hope will meet diverse needs and preferences for learning how to use the system and perform critical business functions. More training materials are being built, so please keep an eye on this tab for future updates.
- ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ Tab – As we receive feedback from the campus community about our transition to Workday, we are simultaneously building out our frequently asked questions (FAQs) with associated answers. Please share additional inquiries that you don’t see represented in our current list of FAQs.
