The future of Europe, why should it matter to America – Estonia´s perspective

A talk by Kristjan Prikk, Estonian ambassador to the United States

Ambassador Prikk will present the Estonian and European perspectives on current regional and global security challenges in the transatlantic context, with a particular focus on Russia's war against Ukraine and the Western response. Protecting rules-based international order, countering hybrid attacks as well as supporting those who fight for their sovereignty and freedom are all complex tasks that require transatlantic cooperation. In his presentation, Ambassador Prikk will elaborate how freedom, innovation, economic progress and security in Europe are all tied together as well as why this is relevant for America.

Friday, February 14, 3:30-5:00
