Carleton College buys new insurance every year. We work with an insurance broker who helps us find the best insurance companies, negotiate rates, and assist in claim disputes.
Our main goal is to make sure everyone at Carleton understands how to manage risks and prevent problems. We want to encourage a culture where people are aware of potential issues, receive proper training, follow best practices, and take responsibility. We’re here to offer advice and work with everyone in the Carleton community to achieve this.
Please note that your personal belongings, whether you’re a student or an employee, are not covered by the college’s insurance program. You’ll need to arrange your own insurance for those items.
