Presenters should upload their posters and links to their videos on ForagerOne by October 12. Poster files must be in pdf format and must be smaller than 10 MB.

Presenters must complete the ForagerOne registration and upload all at the same time. They will be unable to return to or edit their submission after it is submitted.

Here are the instructions:

  • Go to this link and follow the instructions: https://symposium.foragerone.com/curis/submission
  • Enter your name, email address, affiliation/organization where the experience took place, funding source, co-author’s names (optional), supervisor name (if your supervisor is a co-author, please enter their name in both the co-author and supervisor fields), and funding source. 
  • Check as many subject fields as are applicable to the presentation.
  • Additional presenters: add the names of the other undergraduate students who are both co-authors on your poster and presenting in the symposium, if applicable. You will need to know their class year, major (if applicable), supervisor, and funding source (if different from the main presenter).
  • You will need to enter the title and abstract that you submitted on the Carleton registration form–you should have received an email copy of what was submitted.
  • Upload your poster as a pdf file. If it is not smaller than 10 MB, you will get an error message
  • Insert the YouTube link to your video; if you are unable to attend the synchronous symposium, from 4 – 6 PM on October 16, please tell the audience that in your video.

In order to be able to make comments in the symposium, students will need to create an account with ForagerOne: https://symposium.foragerone.com/curis/signup

They need to submit: 

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • The institution/conference you are registering for: (Carleton Undergraduate Research and Internship Symposium)
  • Email
  • Password

Before the symposium, students will receive a copy of the abstracts, in alphabetical order by last name of the first student author.

  • The abstract book will indicate whether students are expected to participate in synchronous chat between 4 – 5 PM or 5 – 6 PM, Central time.
  • Students are expected to comment on at least five other posters in the symposium
