I worked with a few other students in the lab on a project that investigates the effect of estrogen and sexual experience on vaginocervical epithelial morphology. Before that, we looked at the effects of morphine on conditioned object preferences for mating after a single trial.

One of my favorite memories from working in the lab was always the conversations we would have while doing behavioral testing. The social aspect of working in the lab with my peers was a great part of the experience. In general, I have loved doing undergraduate research because it has helped me to solidify my career goals and also build confidence in my scientific inquiry abilities.
