Faculty-Directed Research Off-Campus

Students can secure supervised research opportunities at other colleges or universities, medical centers, government entities, and foundations. Many institutions have organized research programs to which students can apply for admission and funding.

Carleton-Funded Support for Research at Other Institutions

Carleton offers support for research that is not funded by the host institution through the Kolenkow-Reitz Fellowship or Summer Science Fellowship (for STEM fields) and the Career Center (for research opportunities that can be classified as internships).
