For the fall 2024 Religion Matters Forum, Dr. Cynthia Chapman will speak on “The Bible and the Ballot in American Christianity”. Dr. Cynthia Chapman is Adelia A. F. Johnston and Harry Thomas Frank Professor of Religion at Oberlin College and the author of The House of the Mother: The Social Roles of Maternal Kin in Biblical Hebrew Narrative and Poetry (Yale University Press, 2016).
